DELAWARE COUNTY — An inmate being booked into the Delaware County jail was brought up on new charges after a belt buckle knife was discovered on his person.
WBNG reports that Brayan Thompson was being processed into the facility for an unrelated burglary in the second degree charge when deputies found the weapon on him.
Thompson has now also been charged with promoting prison contraband, a class D felony.
He remains incarcerated in the Delaware County Correctional facility pending future court appearance.
