DOTHAN, Ala. — A Dothan woman pleaded guilty Monday to stealing a cupcake and a Snickers candy bar from a woman held at the Houston County Jail.
Court records show Alisa Marie Pierson, 24, of Mallon Street, pleaded guilty Monday in front of District Court Judge Benjamin Lewis to a misdemeanor third-degree theft of property charge.
Records show Pierson pleaded guilty to stealing a Snickers candy bar, a cupcake, a 20 ounce Coke, a packet of vanilla cream cookies and some chicken soup with a total value of $6.77 from Montesa Johnson, another inmate at the Houston County Jail. Jail officials charged Pierson with the theft at the county jail on Saturday.
