GLENN COUNTY, Calif. — While officers were serving the inmates lunch in the Glenn County Adult Detention Facility; inmate Alexander Depree Jefferson, age 22 of Willows, assaulted correctional officers John Sullivan and Steve Bertagna. Lt. Revolinsky, Sgt. Miranda, Cpl. Norwood and Correctional Officer Squier responded and provided assistance. Officers Sullivan and Squier sustained facial injuries. Both were treated at Glenn Medical Center in Willows and released.
Sheriff Larry Jones has been informed of the assualt on the officers.
Inmate Jefferson was taken to a cell in booking where he was re-booked for investigation of Assault on a Correctional Officer and Battery with Serious Bodily Injury. bail: $125,000
