Escape from the mount using the 'back door escape'


In this video tactical tip, Fletch Fuller of ISR Matrix International — alongside demonstration partner Ray Price, also of ISR Matrix International — addresses an issue that is not often covered in training for ground defense when in a mounted position. The technique here actually arose out of a troubleshooting session in which questions were raised about controlling a subjects hands in a bridge-and-roll maneuver when you’re actually far closer to the attacker’s feet.
