MESA, Ariz. — Police officers are known for eating donuts, but one cop is using them for a good cause.

Arizona Department of Corrections Officer John Risch is doing what he calls “Cop on Top of a Doughnut Shop” for the seventh year.

From Oct. 24th at 7 a.m. until Oct.26th at 7 p.m., Risch will be sitting on top of the Krispy Kreme off Power Road and US 60 to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics Arizona.

He’ll be wearing different costumes and chatting with customers.
