BELMONT, NY — A woman was arrested at the Allegany County Jail after it was discovered that she was smuggling drugs during a visitation.
WIVB reports that Julie Richardson, 24, was found to have 70 bags of heroin hidden in a body cavity that were located during a routine search.
Richardson has been charged with first degree promoting prison contraband and third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
She’s been reprimanded to Allegany County Jail on $15,000 bail and has a court date set for April 29.
