WASHINGTON — With heartfelt words and dressed in her favorite color, family, friends and co-workers remembered Carolyn Cross.
“We loved her,” said Sharon Hargrove, who worked for Cross. “I think I can speak for everyone we loved her.”
The deputy director of the D.C. Department of Corrections was killed in her Alexandria apartment over the weekend.
