SENOIA, Ga. — It’s not quite a “man bites dog,” story, but it is a “brother bites brother” one, with a machete-wielding naked guy thrown in for good measure.
Last Thursday, authorities were called out to an assault on Lee Road in Senoia. What they found was Howard Dennis, 48, complaining about his head hurting, according to Major Jimmy Yarbrough with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.
Turns out that headache was from a 4-inch gash from a machete inflicted on Howard by his brother, Robert Fredrick Dennis, 42, the major said, adding there were some other slashes as well.
As if the machete wasn’t enough, Robert Dennis also started gnawing on his brother’s face and pretty much chewed his ear off, Yarbrough said.
“Howard said his brother attacked him like a pit bull,” the major said, adding Robert Dennis was naked during the altercation.
The whole thing started over them fighting over some cigarettes, and their mom had to call Coweta 911 to finally break them up.
Robert Dennis was charged with aggravated assault, according to Coweta County Jail records.
