GUAM — The corrections officer terminated for receiving a foot massage from a maximum security inmate is still fighting to get his job back.
Former CO Leodagario Buan claims there was no misconduct or unlawful act and that management knew of the alleged misconduct more than 60 days before terminating him, according to Kuam News.
Buan appealed his termination with the Civil Service Commission that held a status call on Wednesday.
He’s asked the Commission to accept his appeal, hold a hearing and rule in his favor and revoke the termination, expunge his files and make him whole for losses and damages.
Another status hearing is scheduled for later this month.
