HAZLE TOWNSHIP — A jury in Luzerne County is hearing evidence of a suspicious death that happened two years ago when a state correctional officer was shot and killed.
In September of 2011, Officer Matthew Gallie was found dead at Eagle Rock, a gated community near Hazleton.
What was never determined was whether Gallie’s death was a suicide, homicide or accidental.
