CHICAGO — The Illinois Department of Corrections and the Department of Juvenile Justice are honoring their fallen heroes.
The 35 people who lost their lives on the job were honored with the service at the Department of Corrections campus in Springfield on Tuesday.
Family members of the victims called it a moving tribute.
