UNITED KINGDOM – Two inmates who somehow managed to climb on the roof of the Dartmoor prison facility in Devon were offered sunscreen by prison staff.
The Telegraph reports that the offer was within the facility’s health and safety rules.
The Prison’s Minster, however, called the offer of sunscreen “foolish.”
The inmates were eventually talked down off the roof. It’s not sure what, if anything, they were trying to do.
An investigation into how the inmates got onto the roof is underway.
