WILMINGTON — A federal jury of eight dismissed claims of excessive force against two Department of Correction officers on Thursday brought by former prosecutor turned inmate Ken Abraham.
The jury ruled Abraham failed to prove his charges against Lt. Michael Costello and Cpl. Daniel Mann after about two hours of deliberation.
“I’m disappointed but not entirely surprised given the massive indifference toward prisoners, and that massive indifference is a massive mistake,” said Abraham immediately after the verdict was read.
