KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. — A man faked his own kidnapping to try and con his mother out of $200.

According to WAVE3, Zachery Logsdon texted his mother messages that his dealer would kill him if he didn’t receive the money.

Logsdon’s mother grew suspicious, as he had apparently pulled a similar stunt in the past to get drug money.

She called 911 and arranged a drop-off spot for the money; when Logsdon arrived, he was arrested.
