BALTIMORE — Authorities have recaptured Rodriguez Purnell around 6 p.m. in Baltimore.

CBS News reports that Purnell is serving a prison sentence for assaulting a corrections officer and waiting to go on trial for the March 2013 murder of Terrence Rheubottom.

He was mistakenly released on Friday, but no one realized he was missing until Sunday.

ABC News reports that they were notified when the victim’s family called the jail when Purnell was seen hanging around the neighborhood.
