WESTBOROUGH — The Westborough Senior Center is one of the most recent non-profit organizations in the area to benefit from the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Inmate Community Service Program.

Inmate work crews spent several days at the Senior Center painting its kitchen and food-preparation area. Crews also assisted the Senior Center by removing snow from its entryways and walkways after the recent storm.

Senior Center Executive Director Alma DeManche said, “The Sheriff’s inmate work crew was very respectful and did an outstanding job and we are very grateful for the many thousands of dollars this program has saved us in labor and maintenance costs.”
