MUNCIE — A county sheriff who had shoulder surgery done one week ago has passed.
FOX News reports that Delaware County Sheriff Mike Scroggins died Friday morning in Elyria, Ohio. He was at his girlfriend’s house when he got up in the morning and fell. He died shortly after.
Scroggins, 52, had the surgery done at an Ohio hospital on May 8. He was elected sheriff in 2010.
