Parolee arrested after meth found rolled in parole officer’s business card

A parolee has been arrested after Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputies found meth on him, wrapped inside the man’s parole officer’s business card

Two men were arrested in a drug bust in Hartford Sunday. One of them was found in possession of methamphetamine wrapped in his parole officer’s business card.

HARTFORD, Mich. — A parolee has been arrested after Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputies found meth on him, wrapped inside the man’s parole officer’s business card.

MLive reports that the deputies were at the residence to arrest another man, Kenneth Pompey, on an outstanding warrant. The second man was found in the residence in possession of the illegal drug, and was arrested on parole violation.

The man’s name has not been released pending charges.

Deputies obtained a search warrant and found methamphetamine, marijuana, morphine, Norco, a digital scale, drug paraphernalia and $600 in case inside the house.
