Preventing chokes

During a physical encounter chokes are deadly. Being able to identify them can mean the difference from life and death. Here are some survival tips!

1. Always gauge your breathing if it is starting to get labored or your forcing yourself to breath LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!

2. Check for restricted head and neck movement this maybe be early warning signs

3. Keep your chin tucked downward and raise your shoulders up to reinforce your neck strength

4. Survey area look for weapons of opportunity

5. Stay calm, don’t panic and if all else fails play possum and go limp this may give you a window of opportunity!
