Video: County jail gets bovine visitors

Last week two cows which had gotten loose, made their way to the entrance of the New Century Adult Detention Center in Olathe

OLATHE, Kan. — The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office had some unique visitors stop by their jail recently, and it was all caught on surveillance.

“The reason our detention deputies won’t say they have seen it all. The day the cows came to visitation at our jail….” read the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook video post.

Last week two cows which had gotten loose, made their way to the entrance of the New Century Adult Detention Center in Olathe. The two animals found their way to the glass doors, but thankfully couldn’t find a way inside.
