NEW YORK — Video captured the sight of an off-duty New York probation officer assisting a woman being harassed on the subway.
According to CBS News, cellphone video footage shows the officer pointing a gun at a man on the ground, making sure he stayed there until police arrived.
Witnesses say they saw the man terrorizing a woman, pursuing her from train car to train car during the ride from Rockaway Park to Broad Channel station.
The woman told a witness she didn’t know the man chasing her and had blocked a punch from her attacker when the probation officer stepped in.
