CINCINATTI, Ohio — A bible containing a lethal dose of heroin was discovered by drug sniffing dogs in the Hamilton County Jail back in December.
WCPO news reports that the bible was being inspected upon delivery and drug sniffing dogs “hit on” the book.
Deputies searched it further and found a stain on page 420; testing confirmed that it was heroin.
Experts estimated that the “stain could account for up to 30-40 hits to get high, or if taken all at once it could be lethal.”
Two men were arrested in connection with the bible and are facing criminal charges.
