Authorities: 2 Ky. inmates who escaped back in custody

PINEVILLE, Ky. — Authorities say two inmates who walked away from a minimum security institution in Kentucky are back in custody.

A statement from the Department of Corrections says 35-year-old Jason Norris and 33-year-old Anthony Drury were apprehended at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday about 3 miles from the Bell County Forestry Camp. They had escaped from the facility on Sunday.

The statement says they were returned to the Forestry Camp and will face additional charges.

Norris was serving a 50-year sentence for several offenses, including robbery, burglary, and theft by unlawful taking. Drury was serving a 20-year sentence for wanton endangerment, receiving stolen property along with fleeing and evading.
