NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A Tenn. inmate who escaped from a work crew was found in Texas, where police say he robbed a bank.
Jacob Foster was working with a group of inmates on a Nashville interstate when he started running from correctional officers, according to The Associated Press.
Authorities said Foster matched a description of a man who robbed a bank Monday. Officials found him hiding in a box spring mattress in a Texas home.
He was serving a 23-year sentence for multiple theft and burglary convictions.
