LEA COUNTY, N.M. – A man convicted of murder in N.M. broke out of jail using just a newspaper, razorblade and a handful of Popsicle sticks.
Over the course of five months, Carlos Garcia managed to cut through his window using the razor and Popsicle sticks, according to MSN.com. Then he fashioned a fake window using paper, plastic and more sticks.
However, once out, Garcia changed his mind and climbed back into his second-story cell using a bedsheet. He has since been moved to maximum security.
