HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. — Surveillance video shoes two inmates escaping from the Hardin County Detention center on Saturday.
The security footage shows the two men, Lonnie Ray Coy and Joshua Nunn talking with a third inmate moments before the escape.
They check the hallway as a CO walks by and then they walk out the door. The third inmate appears to back out of the plan and stays inside the facility while the other two walk out the door.
Once outside, they dug out under the wire fence to escaped to freedom. They are still on the loose.
Coy was being held for parole violations, Nunn for manufacturing meth, according to WKYT.com.
Officials say they are looking into measures to avoid another walk out.
