BECKLEY, W.VA — An inmate who escaped from the Beckley Correctional Center has been captured after a week on the run, according to a release from the West Virginia Division of Corrections.
Eric Lee Mason went missing May 15 when he wasn’t present for the 4 p.m. head count.
Mason was in custody on charges of six counts of breaking and entering, one count of grand larceny and one count of forging or uttering other writing.
