LAKE CITY, Fla. — Unhappy with the amount of cheese he received while going through the breakfast line, inmate Willie Watts became belligerent and attacked two Columbia Correctional Institution officers in February.
News 4 Jax reports that Watts struck both Officers Terry Neil and Jesus Camacho in the head when they tried to calm him down. Two more officers jumped in, one deploying OC, and eventually subduing Watts.
Watts is charged with several counts of aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer; he is already serving a sentence for second-degree murder of a fellow inmate in 1986, and has a long history of incarceration.
