MILWAUKEE — A Milwaukee County correctional officer was terminated after it was discovered he attended a parent-teacher conference while armed.

ABC News reports that Bradley Cournoyer, 32, visited the conference at an elementary school in Washington County with a firearm. Cournoyer allegedly claimed to be a sheriff’s deputy.

He will face charges of impersonating a police officer and possession of a firearm in a school zone.

If convicted, he faces four years in prison.
