PUEBLO, Colo. — Pueblo County is cashing in on jail inmates.

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office has turned over more than $300,000 from unclaimed inmate funds and profits from commissary purchases.

According to the Pueblo Chieftain, the money is paying for jail upgrades and a bus to transport inmates.
