ATLANTA — The deputy commissioner of the Department of Natural Resources has been selected to head the Georgia Department of Corrections.
Access North reports that Homer Bryson will replace Brian Owns as DOC commissioner; Owens has been appointed to the Board of Pardons and Paroles.
Bryson has served as the deputy commissioner of the Department of Natural Resources for the past four years, and before that, he served as colonel of the DNR Law Enforcement Section.
