SC corrections officer fired for destroying a car window

Arrested for the incident but out on bail within 30 minutes

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — A corrections officer since 2010, Dennis J. Fenstamaker was fired following an arrest on Tuesday.

Fenstamaker is accused of punching in the rear window of a parked car at Captain Poo’s according to The Sun News, before fleeing the scene with an injured hand. He was arrested, then booked and released from jail within 30 minutes on $1,000 bail.

Witnesses told police he had argued with his girlfriend before the incident.
