DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — An inmate was charged with aggravated assault after allegedly hitting and biting a corrections officer over a toilet paper dispute.
Inmate Sakeem Lamar Gray had toilet paper hanging in his cell in violation of prison rules, according to Penn Live. When he ignored a corrections officer’s orders to take it down, the officer entered the inmate’s cell to remove it himself.
It was then that Gray struck the officer’s face with his bare hands and bit the officer on the right arm.
There was no report of the officer’s condition.
