FLORENCE, Colo. — An inmate suspected of killing a corrections officer at a federal prison in northeastern Pennsylvania has been transferred to the federal Supermax prison here in Colorado.
The Citizens’ Voice reports authorities say 36-year-old Jessie Con-ui was moved Friday from the high-security federal prison in Allenwood to the facility in Florience. A Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesman would not give a reason for the transfer.
Officials say Con-ui is the suspect in the Feb. 25 killing of Corrections Officer Eric Williams, who was working in a housing unit at the federal prison in Wayne County when an inmate using a homemade weapon attacked him.
