HOLMESBURG, Pa. — Two corrections officers and a Philadelphia Prisons sergeant are recovering after an attack Monday afternoon.

NBC News reports that the officers were responding to a fight between two inmates at the Philadelphia Industrial Corrections Center. When they arrived, one inmate allegedly pulled out a prison-made weapon and stabbed one officer in the eye. A second officer was stabbed in the head, and another in the hand.

The attacking inmate was restrained. One of the two inmates that was fighting was taken to the hospital along with the injured officers, but it is unclear if it was the attacker.
