MONROE, Wash. — A corrections officer was attacked by an inmate Tuesday evening in a unit at the Monroe Correctional Complex for mentally ill offenders.
Spokeswoman Susan Biller tells KOMO the officer was treated at Valley General Hospital and is expected to recover.
