Contraband: Soap molded around cell phone

This cell phone was recently found during a cell search by corrections officers in Missouri. The member wrote, “the inmates’ behavior towards the soap dish raised concern and a harder look at the bar of soap from officers.”

The member said the trick is very similar to another one published in the C1 contraband command center, however in this case the inmates wrapped the phone in plastic and painstakingly heated up the soap and molded it around the cell phone.

“Once dried the soap looks very solid and had to be chipped away to recover the phone, as you can see in the pictures,” the member wrote.
