Waterbury, Conn. — The family of a murdered woman is fighting to keep her killer behind bars. They went before the parole board Thursday morning to plead their case.
It was a dramatic showdown at the parole hearing. In a conference room on a video screen, a convicted killer and rapist pled to be let out of prison, while the family of the woman he killed sat and listened, reacting to every word.
“I followed the rules and procedures. I’m not sure what more I could have done,” said convicted killer Edward Boyle.
