CORALVILLE, Iowa — A probation officer conducting a residence check of an offender caught in violation of his probation discovered a woman hiding inside a suitcase in the home.
The Press-Citizen reports that Ryan Leigh Ransom told the probation officer that no one else was in the home.
But the officer found a woman “hidden in a suitcase located in a closet,” with drug paraphernalia stuffed inside her bra.
Ransom had been ordered to discontinue contact with the woman during the course of his probation.
Ransom was arrested and booked on possession of a controlled substance. It’s unclear if the woman was arrested.
