NEW ORLEANS — U.S. District Judge Lance Africk released controversial videos Tuesday showing gambling and the use of illegal drugs and a gun at the Orleans Parish Prison.
The videos were shown Tuesday as part of the hearings over a consent decree at the jail.
In the video posted above, inmates are seen snorting, injecting and smoking various drugs inside of a jail cell. An inmate is also seen flashing a hand gun.
The inmates also drink from several tall cans of beer. It was unclear when the video was recorded.
