Securus Technologies connects thousands of incarcerated individuals with their loved ones with free greeting cards.
DALLAS — Securus Technologies is committed to keeping bonds strong between incarcerated individuals and their families throughout the incarceration experience. It is part of what Securus Technologies connecting what matters is all about, and it delivers on that promise through its communication technology. This Mother’s Day, that initiative came to life with a special promotion, with complimentary custom, crafted greeting cards to many correctional agencies that are Securus customers.
In all, 420,979 free eCards were sent on Mother’s Day, which is an all-time high for a single holiday. The first eCards were sent in December of 2014.
“Mom is always in our hearts, no matter where we are,” said Dave Abel, president and CEO of Aventiv Technologies, parent company of Securus Technologies. “Gifting e-Cards to incarcerated individuals and their loved ones is our way of giving them an opportunity to make this day even more special, with an additional option to show admiration for the person they care about the most, wherever they are.”
Both incarcerated individuals and their loved ones could participate in this free offer, so both inbound and outbound eCards were sent to share appreciation for mom on this special day. Many Securus Technologies’ customers across the country selected to participate in the Mother’s Day complimentary eCards promotion.
