CLIFTON — Authorities say an Essex County corrections officer was drunk when she struck three police cars in Clifton.
Thirty-five-year-old Alisha Williams is charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone and reckless driving.
Clifton Sgt. Robert Bracken tells NJ.com the patrol cars were responding to an accident when the crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Bracken says one officer sustained neck and back injuries.
It’s not known if Williams has a lawyer.
