Former CO pleads guilty to rapes

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A former jailer and volunteer fireman already serving time for crimes in Weakley County pleaded guilty Friday to multiple counts of rape, robbery and other charges stemming from attacks on women in Shelby County in the summer of 2009.

Bruce Tuck, 38, was sentenced to 20 years with no parole to be added to the 60-year, no-parole sentence he already is serving for rapes in Martin, Tenn. Paperwork for his guilty pleas was the size of a small phone book and included eight aggravated rapes, six counts of especially aggravated kidnapping, four counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of aggravated sexual battery and several other charges.
