PERTH AMBOY, N.J. — A state corrections officer was arrested and charged with buying drugs moments before police were about to raid the alleged dealer’s home, authorities said.
Miguel Angel Rosario, 44, was arrested Friday, along with the suspected dealer, Cesar Valentine Sosa-Abreu, 37, in the area of High Street and Hall Avenue on Friday, police said.
Officers then took Sosa-Abreu back to his apartment at 308 Hall Ave., executed a search warrant and found more than half an ounce of cocaine worth an estimated $8,500, authorities said.
Rosario is identified as a senior corrections officer at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women in Clinton Township.
