HOUSTON — She’s supposed to uphold the law, but a Harris County detention officer now finds herself facing serious accusations involving her own child.
HPD officers arrested Harris County employee Tawatha Lamark Wednesday on felony injury to a child charges that were filed Tuesday, and child protective services tells us an investigation is underway.
Lamark is now on administrative suspension from the Harris County Sheriff’S Office, where she has been a detention officer at the jail on North San Jacinto since 2007.
