SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — A copy of Chris Brown’s San Bernardino County Jail identification somehow made its way out of police custody and online, where a seller attempted to pawn it for $10,000.
TMZ reports that Brown only spent a day or so at the facility on his way to D.C. for a hearing on his assault charges.
Police eventually found the seller, who claimed he had gotten the ID from a friend of a friend.
An investigation into how the ID got out and whether a crime has been committed is still ongoing.
