UTAH COUNTY, Utah — A man who accused his daughter of cheating at the board game ‘Battleship’ has found himself behind bars after threatening her with a gun.
FOX News reports that the teen told her father she wanted to leave, but he made her stay in his mobile home.
Authorities believe the father was intoxicated. The teen made several 911 phone calls where she wouldn’t speak, but instead left the phone on. Dispatchers were able to get her phone number and used GPS to find her general location.
Deputies said the father and daughter were fighting when they arrived.
The father has been arrested on multiple charges, including aggravated assault, domestic violence, unlawful detention, and intoxication charges, among others.
