MELBOURNE, Australia — Hoddle St killer Julian Knight has been fighting for a computer in his prison cell for seven years, now he wants a PlayStation.
The mass murderer has launched legal action over a decision by Corrections Victoria not to allow him access to the popular gaming console. He is also seeking a judicial review of a decision to not allow him to have a computer.
In documents filed with the Supreme Court the 44-year-old said he was being treated unfairly without any rational justification.
Knight — who murdered seven people and injured 19 in Melbourne in one of the country’s worst massacres in 1987 — has been fighting to get a computer in his cell at Port Phillip Prison since 2006.
