BAY CITY, Mich. — A woman who drove herself to jail while drunk ended up behind bars.
MLive reports that Bay County Sheriff’s deputies noticed a car parked over two spaces in the lot around 1:46 a.m. on Saturday. The car was partially embedded in a snowbank and on a curb, and was still running with its lights on.
They found a woman passed out behind the wheel, along with several containers of alcohol.
The woman was not at the jail to pick anyone up who was being released, nor could she give any reason at all why she was there. She did say that she was headed to Bay City.
She was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, second offense. She was later freed on bond and the date of her arraignment is pending.
