SANTA ANA, Calif.—An Orange County jail inmate has been sentenced to six years in prison for his role in the beating death of a fellow inmate believed to be a child molester.
Prosecutors say 26-year-old Eric Charles Miller, the ninth and final inmate sentenced in the 2006 death of John Chamberlain, pleaded guilty to felony manslaughter and was sentenced Monday.
Miller has already been in jail for six years so he will likely be released later Monday.
